That makes the perfect throw-on-and-go warm weather outfit.
I’m a sucker for strolls along nature trails and secluded paths. It’s such a treat to get away for a bit and forget about the stresses of everyday life. On one of my outings I stumbled upon a hidden gem. The road I was walking on hit a dead end and tucked away just beyond the trees was this sunlit field. Despite loving my new find, it was extremely hot and humid. Needless to say, I was thankful to be in such a breezy dress.
I’ve been wanting to hop on the embroidery trend for some time now. So when I first saw this embroidered rose dress, I couldn’t pass it up. I love the short black slip with the long flowing outer mesh. The layering adds interest and almost looks like two separate pieces. I also love the looping along the neckline that accentuates the plunge. And to top it off, I’m obsessed with the detail in the roses and leaves. With all of the intricate design elements, this dress is stunning even when it’s worn on its own. It was the perfect setting with the perfect dress.
Styling the Embroidered Rose Dress
1. Rose Dress: It’s such a bummer, but this dress sold out before I could make this post. So here’s an almost identical one that I love just as much!
2. Wrap Choker: Long wrap chokers are the best because you can wear them so many different ways. Wrap it once and let the ends hang open, or twist the ends together like I did. Sometimes I’ll even wrap the necklace as many times as possible and then tie a bow at my neck.
3. Red Sandals: As much as I love heels, I still need a sandals break every now and then. Grab some red flats dress this look down for a more casual look. (It looks just as cute with heels, though!)
4. H&M Ring Set: These rings are a staple in my every day styling. They match with every outfit I put together and look good with any silver jewelry I pair them with.
